Chapter 24

Tell Bella, is what she sees right now luck or rather a misfortune? It's her own fault for drinking so much every midnight. No. It seems this isn't entirely Bella's fault. She does tend to get thirsty because the baby in her belly contributes to her dehydration every night.

As she climbs the stairs, intending to return to her room promptly, Bella hears someone opening the front door. Bella is convinced it must be Julia who has just returned.

Hastily, Bella steps to quickly enter her room to avoid encountering the homeowner. However, before she could even close the door, Bella clearly hears the voices of a man and a woman conversing while ascending the stairs. Moreover, what they're discussing sounds unusual.

"You make me even more passionate, Darling."

"I haven't even kissed you yet."

"In that case, after we get to the room, you have to satisfy me more than usual. Just so you know, Edward hasn't touched me at all since I got back."

"So, are you craving affection?"
