Chapter 14: Made For Each Other

IRIS' P.O.V.

My eyes snap open in shock and I really look at him as all feelings of sexual arousal left me. His hands left my neck as well as my clit and his eyes grew emotionless as I stood up from him.

I could practically see the walls coming up in his eyes and I realized Les was guarding himself emotionally against me.

“Why did you do that?” I asked, appalled.

“Because he hurt you,” Les confessed, “I know he broke your wrist so I broke something of his too.”

I could only blink in surprise. “You did all that for me?”

Les nodded.

“But what if your uncle finds out?”

“He won't.” Les replied. “What I have done is untraceable. If he decides to investigate the fire, it will only lead to a gas leak coming from his own private office.”
