when the glass of the backseat slid down.

She looked up, and her gaze met an unfamiliar face.

It was the shareholder who had no reaction when she was inside the meeting room.

Shawty nodded at him.

"You have grown up," the man said as he scrutinized her. "You look more like your father," he added.

Shawty was surprised. She always thought she looked like her mom, but this was the first time she heard that she looked like her father.

"You know him?" She asked. She realized how stupid her question sounded, but she had already asked and could not take back her words.

"Of course your father and I were very close. Get in if you want to know more," he said.

Shawty nodded.

She walked to the passenger door so she could sit beside the driver.

"Come and sit next to me." The man's voice stopped her.
