"Why is Uncle so late to pick you up?" asked Inka pretending to be sulky.

"Sorry, there was a little business. So how about it? Have you met your friend who didn't come on your birthday?" Stefan asked.

He had already opened the door for Inka. Inka quickly got into the car and buckled her seatbelt properly before replying, "How did you know I was going to see him?"

Stefan turned, "Of course I know. What is it that I don't know, dear?"

Inka sneered, "I should have known if you could read other people's minds."

Stefan chuckled, "You could see it on your face that night, kid. You wished for him to come but he couldn't come, of course you're going after him. So tell me, are you interested in him?"

Inka suddenly turned to her uncle, "Can we go home now Uncle Stefan?"

Stefan smiled and obeyed his favorite niece's wish but still didn't want to leave the topic, "Inka, I don't forbid you to date but before you choose someone, first introduce me. I don't want you to fall for useless men.
