Rory's phone slip out of my hand. It fell straight to the floor and it broke into two. With both of my eyes closed. I carefully weigh the choices that I have and that is to turn to him first or I will pick up Rory's phone and start to panic about it.

"Why is Nicholas talking to you like that? We are going to be a married couple. He is your brother, yes, but it's none of his business whether I'll get you pregnant in the first month of being together," he said to me. Kairos is still facing my back. My head vividly imagines what he probably looks like right now based on his voice.
