Chapter 46

"Welcome to the family, Rory." Kio raised his wineglass and the rest of us followed. Everyone sips on their champagne and wine. He got off the small platform and then he walked towards our table.

"Are you okay?" I asked him half smiling. We are almost done with the rehearsal dinner and everyone is now minding their own business. Kio lightly shook his head and then he purposely made sure that I saw him straighten his posture. He flashed a smile and once again offered his hand to me. I looked at Kairos when I saw him staring straight at his twin brother.

"Come on, do you mind if I dance with my sister-in-law? Just one dance, Kairos. It's not like she will change her mind and choose to marry me instead of you after this," Kio teased Kairos. I took his hand and pulled him straight to the dancefloor. Kio is full of antics and he knows how to irritate his twin in more ways than one before he gets on Kairo's nerves. I'd distance him away from his twin.
