A baguette in my tote bag and a roll of fresh flowers in my right hand is the right count that I need for me to replace the wilted one in my vase. Nicholas and I continued to walk down the streets towards my apartment, laughing with each other as if we had been friends with each other for a long time. We stopped in front of the three steps stairs that one must take to reach my front door. I turned to him and the curve on my lips slowly faded, not sure whether he wanted to get inside, if I should ask her to get inside, or drop a subtle hint that I didn't want him to get inside and fake a reason. Act like I am busy and there is something else that I need to do.

"Do you want to come in?" I asked him in the end. Nicholas looked around, searching for a hint before he made up his mind, and just in time he answered that. Nika walked past BS, ignoring me completely. Thinking that I might have done something that might have completely upset her. My eyes followed her but while she was busily in
