“H-hey, Phoenix, stop.” Kiara said, running towards him, but Phoenix did not stop until he reached the inside of the apartment building.
“So where is it?” he asked, turning around to face her.
“What? What are you doing? Go back home.”
“No. either we are going to just argue at each other here or you will let me stay for the night. And besides, I cannot drive anymore, I am too tired.” Phoenix insisted.
Kiara just stood there, thinking of what to do. She can’t just let him stay, and besides, she does not have a room for him to stay. The couch might be going to be too small for him.
“You cannot stay.”
“I can.”
She stared at his eyes, challenging him to just give up already and go home yet, Phoenix was just too stubborn to get what he wants.
