End Of A Fairytale

Rose was a little surprised with the way Wayne had just given her a quick hug and then dismissed her. She kept watching him as he walked away because she expected him to turn around and show that he was just teasing her or something. But he never did and he eventually walked through a door and disappeared.

I guess this is where the fairytale ends, the clock has struck twelve and everything is back to normal. I wonder if we will ever meet in public. If we did, would he act like he doesn't know who I am? Maybe he wouldn't have to act like it; he probably won't remember what I look like.

It was sad to see this night come to an end and there was nothing she could do about it, but she certainly was not going to forget it in a hurry. When next was she going to visit a mansion and have dinner with a billionaire?

"Umm, excuse me Miss. If you could kindly follow me now…" The maid said cautiously as Rose turned to her in surprise.

She had honestly forgotten
