Setting Boundaries

Wayne had not forgotten how soft her lips had felt against his on his birthday. It was a thought which frequently lingered in his mind and right now, he was staring at those lips. They seemed to call out to him; giving permission to have a little taste.

But what stopped him was the look in her eye. Asides from all that fire, there was confusion and she looked really bothered. There would be time to have a taste later; he needed to first of all fix what was upsetting her so much.

Rose had finally gathered the courage to look up at Wayne and it felt like a mistake. There was this hunger in his eye but she shrugged it off as just her imagination. Her eyes zeroed in on his lips and she could not stop memories of how they had felt against her skin.

She almost forgot the situation at hand but Wayne suddenly took a deep breath and that got her back on track.

“I’m sorry but could you explain further? What do you mean by not being sure how to behave around
