Chapter 61: An Old Friend  

The last time she went to him for her mother's relics, he said the same thing. Now, her own grandmother wanted to kill her, and his grandfather still advised her to bear it. The reason for this would also have to wait until she was an adult to be told.

Old Mr. Elijah let out a long sigh, "Now is not the time."

"What Howards?"

"You didn't seem to know. The bodyguard that day was a special Howard family bodyguard, someone specially trained by the family. Last night, he came to take you away. No wonder, when I asked him to quit his job yesterday, he didn't agree. I will continue
