Mary sighed in bliss as the showerhead began to spray hot water on her sore muscles. Nicholas had her in a different position, and she had twisted and turned in a position that she had never thought she could do due to her inflexibility.

She squirted a dollop of the coconut hair wash that was sitting on the rack into her hair, and she began to work it in, washing her hair. After which she switched to washing her body, taking extra time to wash between her lower lips.

She got out of the shower before the water started running cold, creamed, and got on her clothes. Then she sat back and waited. Mary was gradually running out of patience, and Nicholas didn't seem to be coming back any time soon.

Or has he gone, leaving her behind? A cold hand of fear gripped her heart at the possibility of him not returning. It was obvious he didn't like her, and his father had only forced him to marry her, and now that the marriage was over, he was free to do whatever she wanted.
