Chapter 24

A week passed smoothly in Samuel and Arianna's marriage, without any major obstacles. Despite occasional arguments and debates, they managed to resolve everything quickly, sometimes dismissing them as trivial.

This morning, as usual before heading to work, Arianna prepared her own breakfast. Meanwhile, Samuel was sitting, engrossed in his tablet, perhaps reading business news or examining daily stock graphs.

"Samuel, finish your breakfast quickly," Arianna urged. She didn't like it when her husband, who also happened to be her boss, frequently yelled at her not to be late when the main cause of their tardiness was Samuel himself.

"Just a moment, Arianna. Can't you see? I'm reading the news," Samuel replied.

"If we're late this morning, be prepared to hear constant complaints and blame from me."

Samuel glanced up, took the glass of milk in front of him, and slowly sipped the drink Arianna had prepared. He enjoyed it peacefully, then responded to his wife's remark.
