"Don't beat around the bush. Quickly tell me what you want to say and what plans you have," Valerie demanded.

After bumping into one of the men who was Samuel's cousin in front of the elevator, Valerie finally agreed to go to a nearby coffee shop, not far from the Pacific Palace building. Once they arrived, they immediately took seats in a corner of the room and began discussing important plans that might be executed soon.

"Relax, Valerie. Don't you miss me at all? Or maybe you want to order some drinks first?" the man offered, trying to be friendly.

Valerie sighed. She wasn't particularly interested in dealing with the man in front of her.

"No need to fish for compliments. Our relationship is just for fun," Valerie replied curtly. It was her natural demeanor. "Enough, let's get straight to the point. If there's nothing to talk about, I might as well leave."
