Chapter 97

Arianna woke up from sleep. Opening her eyes, she found her husband wasn't beside her. Glancing at the clock on the nightstand, it showed three in the morning. So, where was Samuel?

For a moment, Arianna sat up in bed. Sitting on the edge of the bed while waiting for her husband. She thought maybe he was in the bathroom.

However, five minutes passed by with no sign of Samuel. Growing curious, she decided to slip out of bed. Walking slowly, she checked every corner of the room from the bathroom to the walk-in closet to make sure Samuel was nowhere to be found.

Failing to locate her husband, Arianna decided to leave the room. As she opened the bedroom door, the aroma of cooking hit her nose.

Following her instinct, Arianna stepped slowly, descending each step of the stairs before heading towards the dining area. And... there she caught sight of the man she had been searching for.
