Chapter Thirty-one

I moved over to my office looking so happy. I know my reception will be wondering why my face was beaming with a smile. I also forgot that I haven't taken any lunch.

While in my office I quickly called my barrister to be able to book an appointment with him. He actually told me to meet him in his house for any discussion because he was very busy in the office.

"I will be at your place by 7 p.m. this evening. We have an important thing to discuss."

"No problem Neil, I shall see you then."

That evening I went to see the barrister from my office. I couldn't go home and return back. One of the servants led me to the living room and told me to hold on so that the barrister would be available.

I was busy going through some pictures and I found his wedding picture with his bride which made me start thinking about mine. I can't really tell why I haven't made up my mind to get married but I am only doing this because of my parents.

Soon the barrister arrived. "You are welcome to my humble a
