The family of three sat down for dinner.
The atmosphere was not as awkward as Lavender had imagined.
Everyone was well behaved no one talked during the meal.
Robert also noticed that Lavender was picking out specific dishes for her son. The way they interacted was a clear indication that they depended on each other.
Robert was surprised because most of the dishes were his favourite.
He felt a warm and fuzzy feeling in his heart. It seemed like Lavender had never forgotten about him. She remembered everything he liked and even made it for him.
He has never eaten that much for the last seven years. It was satisfying that he did not want to put his chopsticks down..
