“Don’t say you’re fine. You’re… not fine,”David said. His voice was firm and filled with concern.

“It’s just that…” Audrey didn’t have a reason. Everything they said made sense. She’d been feeling run down and worn out but didn’t want anyone to worry about her. She thought she had been doing a god job of hiding her fatigue. Apparently not.

“Mr. Wilson asked me to look for a place. It’s called The Ivy Gardens,” he handed her a brochure. She flipped through it. “It’s not far. About a half thirty minutes drive.”

The facility looked gorgeous on paper. It was nestled in the countryside among rolling hills and pristine lakes. Gorgeous walking trails and generously appointed rooms were plastered all over the pamphlet.

“This looks expensive.”

“No, it shouldn’t be. I designed and built the facility. So, everyone from the company receives deeply discounted rates.”

“Is this what you want?” Audrey asked her father.

“Yes.”
