"Are we ready to begin?" The Judge asked, she was a woman who appeared to be in her early fifties or thereabouts.

Faith released the deep breath she had been holding, she met Mr. Sullivan's stare who whispered solemnly.

"Do you remember all that I've told you? Seeking sympathy will boost your chance to win this case. You don't have to be scared."

Faith swallowed nervously, trying to smile but it wobbled off.

I don't think the story portrays love... The way how stupid Hunter maybe... A real monster, how can a man be that cruel to the woman he loves... Not an obsession either but a beast

why is the fact that the woman who told Faith what Sterling did to have her is forgotten? if that's brought up, it wouldn't turn out to be like this
