After he left, I went to the toilet to wash his blood off my hands. I looked myself in the mirror and realizes there was a little truth in what he said. Why was I so upset?

Thea wasn't here so she was not going to see me fighting for her, she was just going to believe I told everyone. And even if I didn't, she'd hate me nonetheless. I punched the glass and it shattered on the floor. I needed a drink. I walked out and slammed the door hard, not caring about the consequences.

I walked to the bar in a desperate attempt to clear my head, if I had to walk around with all this anger; I would end up breaking more than just glass. Probably Magnus's head.

Grabbing a bottle of tequila from the cupboard and a shot cup, I took my seat at the bar and loosened my tie. If there was a word was than rage, that was exactly what I was feeling right now. How dare he? He really had some guts walking into my office to spew all of that rubbish.
