Chapter 7

Elise's Point of View

"Why are you in a rush?" Maia asked.

I just glared at her. She didn't wake me up. I told her to wake me up for lunch so I can cook for us. "I told you to wake me up. You know that my alarm is useless," I told her.

She just laughed at me. "I already cooked for both of us, Elise. No need to worry and I know you were tired from grinding your hips last night," she said, teasing me.

I glared at her and stood up. I quickly took a bath before I went back to our room. This apartment has only one room. Maia voluntarily helped me and she almost gave up all of her belongings just to give me a cozy place.

She even lets me use her car, saying that her friend always gives her a ride that's why her car is of no use. She knows about my situation that's why she never lets me pay for this rent.

"Hey..."

"What?" I asked her while drying my hair with my towel. I don't have a blower because I am trying to save my ass that I don't want to spend my money on buying things that I want.
