Upon arriving home, he found his children playing. They were surprised to see him and quickly approached, embracing him tightly.

"We miss you, papa," Moneth said.

He felt even more guilty. He hugged his children tightly, tears welling up in his eyes.

"Why didn't you come home last night?" asked Macky, "Mom had no one beside her."

"Where is mom?" he inquired.

"She's upstairs, resting," Moneth replied.

"Oh, kuya, you're up early?" Molly wondered as she descended the stairs. "Ate is upstairs resting."

"I'll go up to her first," he replied.

"Papa, read us a book later, bedtime stories," Moneth requested.

"Yes, papa. It was our schedule last night," added Mico.

"I'll make it up to you later, okay?" he promised.

"Okay, papa," they replied.
