I became mute. His eyes were cold and serious, I knew if I didn't clean it, he'd do it with his lips.

Pete cleared his throat noticing the tension between us. None of us paid him no heed because we were in our own world.

I gently and obediently brought out my napkin and cleaned everything. After I was done, I gently asked,

" Can I leave now?"

He didn't say anything, he just smiled and moved back to his seat.

I accepted his silence as a yes.

Wanting to leave his dominating presence, I quickly opened the door, my legs haven't touched the ground before I heard ,

"Wait, and close the door" he said with a commanding tone

I didn't know what to do between coming down from his car or just waiting like he said. While I was contemplating on what to do, he added

" I know you don't want the whole school to know I'm your husband. If you don't close the door like I said, don't be surprised at what I would do next" he said with his tone domineering without a glance towards my direction. I obedientl
