Thirty Five

Alicia's POV

Minutes after I tried to process what just happened around me to no avail, I stood up and went to my room. I was exhausted from the trip but at the same time, I could also use a drink.

On the other hand, I was too exhausted to go back downstairs to pick a drink or something so instead, I sat on the floor of my room and laid down with my phone in my hand.

I surfed through the internet looking for something interesting while I waited for sleep but that was all useless because nothing seemed to interest me. Instead, I closed my eyes and began counting, hoping that'll help.

All of a sudden, I found myself in a dark space. I tried opening my eyes but it didn't work. I looked around me and all I could see was darkness. Not even a beam of light.

I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and fear gripped me by the back of my neck. I couldn't turn to look at who it was because if I'd turned, I wouldn't see anyone. I heard laughter from one corner, when I looked, it was a younger me,
