Adam patted his friend on the back. "Well, maybe she just needs some time to think about it. You never know, she might change her mind," he said, trying to be optimistic.

Alexander smiled weakly, feeling a sense of hope. "Yeah, maybe you're right. I just hope everything works out in the end," he said, his mind already racing with thoughts of how he could support Celine and their child.

As Alexander and Adam continued their conversation, Alexander's phone suddenly began to ring. He glanced at the screen, only to see that the call was coming from Celine's phone. His heart skipped a beat as he answered the call, his mind racing with worry.

"Hello?" he answered, his voice trembling.

"Is this Alexander?" a woman's voice asked on the other end.

"Yes, it is. Who is this?" he asked, his anxiety rising.

"I'm calling from Celine's phone. She collapsed at the shopping mall and we had to rush her to the hospital. You need to come here immediately," the woman said urgently.
