POV

I woke up at five this morning, I went for a run and then got back went to shower and headed to The Jacobs Group... Niklaus was already there.... I walked up to him and hugged him

"Hey cuz..." I greet him

"Hey... Rav don't tell me you nervous to go up against the board?"

I scowl at him. "How can I not be nervous, My dad, your dad, Second Uncle, fourth aunt, grandma and grandpa is on the board" I tell him

"They’re family... Doesn't mean they will reject it..." he tells me

"You’re on my side, right?" I ask him nervously

"Of course, Sid is my wife's sister, which means she’s, my sister-in-law. I have to help her out" he tells me

"Thanks man... Means a lot... Especially since she grew up without a family" I hug him again

"She has a family now and we will do everything in our power to keep her safe..." he tells me

"I want to ask her to marry me" I tell him

He nods "It's about time"

"Not everyone is like you to ask a girl to marry them on the first date" I tease
