Chapter 16

"Rose! Why did you scream that way?!" David asked, confusingly and worriedly as he stood in front of her and his hands gripping her shoulders to shake her off her trepidation.

"D-david?!" Rose cried shockingly on seeing, hurriedly she hugged him as if he would disappear any moment from her sight.

David was disturbed about everything, he hugged her back softly before pulling away from her. Slowly, he lifted her chin with his finger.

"Why are you looking this way? Did anyone hurt you?" He asked, curiously and Rose wavered her head aside.

"No, I didn't.. It's just that, I saw a text," she was explaining, quickly she bent down to the floor to pick up her phone as she scroll through her message but couldn't find any thing.

"H-how is this possible?!" She muttered, gawking speechlessly while David signed deeply in what seems to be a relief.

"Can you tell me what the hell happened?!" He asked again, still worried on seeing the her raw tears again.

"N-nothing, don't worry," Rose shutter
