Rose rolled her eyes. "Trust me, I'm not jealous."

"I never mentioned your name." He chuckled and she slipped her drink, her eyes everywhere else except looking at Roman.

"I just needed to clear the air."

"It wasn't what your eyes were saying seeing Carmen and I alone in my study." He was till focused on Rose who as just across him as he chopped the carrots.

Rose scoffed. "I couldn't careless what you did with your girlfriend. I have my own boyfriend who takes really good care of me and touching me at the right places." Rose said this, gazing at Roman's orbs.

"Shit!" Roman groaned dropping the knife. Rose ran to he other side of the island to get to Roman. He had a frown etched on his face as he checked out his finger which he almost choped off with the knife.

"Are you okay?" Rose was peeking up at him as she took his hand and saw blood dripping from his finger. "You should be more careful." Rose had so much concern for him.
