“You’re late” The lecturer said immediately I entered the class.

“I’m sorry” I apologized.

After Logan drove off, I had walked to school with an heavy heart.

“Find a place to seat” the lecturer said to me and I looked around the class.

I saw Logan and he looked away immediately he saw me.

I sighed and went to seat on a vacant seat. Martha didn’t have any empty seat beside her.

I couldn’t concentrate during the class. I kept on glancing at Logan who didn’t even spare me a glance.

I was relieved when the class finally ended and Martha came to meet me.

“What is going on?” Was the first question she asked.

“I don’t know what you mean” I feigned ignorance.

“I noticed the tension between you and Logan”

I stopped when Logan stood up from his seat. His eyes met mine but he looked away immediately and then walked out of the class.
