Alexia's POV.

"I knew you would go back on your promise," Natalia murmured under her breath but I heard her anyway.

Nathaniel and I pulled back from our almost kiss after Natalia rudely interrupted us. He placed me down on my feet and wrapped his hand around my waist and he is yet to let go of me. I wasn't complaining though. I like it here.

"Almost, Nat." I corrected.

"What promise?" Nathaniel asked.

"It is nothing," I told him.

"She promised not to make out with you in the airport," Natalia answered. "And Good day to you too big brother. I can see that nothing else matters as long as you have your girlfriend in your arms. You didn't even notice me."

Nathaniel moved his hand away from its position on my waist and pulled his sister into a hug. I felt the absence of his hand immediately.
