Alexia's POV.

"Can I read it?"

I screamed and slammed my laptop shut before turning back to find Nathaniel dressed in a blue Tom Ford suit. I didn't think he had any other color of suits other than black. He had an amused smile on his face at my reaction.

"Can you stop sneaking up on me and scaring the shit out of me?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "I just wanted to see what was more appealing than me. You were not in bed when I woke up."

My heart was still beating fast because of the scare. "I just couldn't sleep with all the imaginations in my head. So I thought I should just...you know? Work." I said.

"Will you let me read it?" He asked.

"What? My book?" I asked him feigning confusion.

"Yes, your book."

"No, absolutely not. Not this one."

He raised his eyebrows. "The first No would have done it."

"Right. Going to work?" I asked him. I was obviously trying to change the topic. I wasn't sure if he noticed it cause he didn't point it out. I didn't want him to ask to read it agai
