Alexia's POV.

"So? How did it go?" I asked Nathaniel when he got back from work. I didn't ask him immediately. I did let him change out of his suit and freshen up before I started bombarding him with questions. Like I said earlier, I don't know much about half the shit he does but I am willing to listen to him and for purely selfish reasons alone.

I enjoy listening to him speak.

He sighed and ruffled his hair. That can't be a good thing.

"What? Is it bad news? Did you not get it? I thought you said the deal was already a done thing so what went wrong? Answer me will you?"

He stared at me with a blank expression for a while before a smile slowly started gracing his face.

"I was just messing with you. Of course, I got the deal." He said with a giant smile and I just glared at him and attempted to walk away but he easily caught up to me and lifted me by my waist.

"Don't even start you guys. Don't start." Natalia warned from where she was sitting on the couch, still watching a movi
