The tension between Logan and me was palpable as we sat at the breakfast table. Each passing glance between us only intensified the nervousness that coursed through my veins. I tried my best to focus on my food, but my appetite seemed to have vanished, replaced by a swirl of emotions and unanswered questions.

I couldn't help but wonder what Logan was thinking, what he felt about our unexpected closeness last night. Did he regret it? Was he as affected by it as I was? The weight of uncertainty sat heavily on my shoulders, making it difficult to carry on with our usual morning routine.

Logan, too, appeared to be lost in his own thoughts. His eyes would occasionally meet mine, and for a brief moment, I caught a glimpse of longing and hesitation in his gaze. It was as if he wanted to say something, but the words remained trapped within him, concealed behind a mask of composure.

I was lost in my thoughts while the family converse. I didn't expect me to involve me in their affairs.
