I’m still trying to make sense of what I’ve just heard. What did they mean I fainted? Jordan is staring at me as if making sure to know if I am truly okay. The panic attack and the fainting escapade are quite surprising, but I guess I was just scared of the consequences of losing Rachel.

The doctor walks in, and Jordan looks worried, but he just tells me there’s nothing wrong with me. She’s probably here to just tell me that I can leave. Why does he look so guilty?

"Hello, Miss Patricia. How are you feeling now?” The doctor asks sweetly.

“I’m feeling better now, thank you.” I reply.

“That’s just great. I’m pleased to inform you that you can head home now, but you must rest.”

“Alright, thanks, doctor.”

“Thank you, Sheila; I’ll make sure she does exactly that.” Mr. Jordan reaffirms, and I stare at him. He seems to be taking this personally.

“Great, take good care of her.”

“We will, ma'am,” Rachel replies.
