By the time morning comes I feel refreshed. I didn’t realize how much better sleep I would get from being with Silas.
I slip out of bed and listen out for his heavy breathing, and I know he’s still asleep. I walk to the shower and breathe out as my shoulder relax under the warm water. Right as I get started shampooing my hair, I get a mind link from Grandma Winnie and she says: Princess, it appears we have some new guests. Ms. Sinclair is not too happy, right now I have Marigold, but because Marinette is your guest, I thought you might want to check in on her.
