Chapter 28 | Incredible
Silas
It’s entertaining seeing Lux as she moves her head around as we move towards where the pack doctor is at. Every single sight around her captivates her. But whenever her eyes land on me, she always smiles, and it makes me feel like I’m the only one in the room with her.
Luna Daphne and Alpha Blake made us get in with the doctor as fast as they could. I know that it’s because they’re worried about the health of the babies. We had been out for over a month with only fluids and nutrients given to us through an IV that it must not be good for the babies.
Lux is completely at ease, though; she knows that it’s okay and that we have Selene and Artemis on our side. Neither one of them will allow anything bad to happen to our children.
Once we’re in our room Daphne and Blake go out to the waiting room to wait onus and Lux grabs my hand and asks, “Are you okay?”
