Chapter 21

It was dark and eerily silent inside the pack house library. The room was located at the third floor of the pack house people rarely go to this floor except for the servants with their cleaning duties. Iris sneaked in turning on the flashlight of her phone scanning the spines of the books. Surprisingly they were neatly arranged, she was able to find a section filled with topics about flowers and plants. While choosing a book two black smoke appeared behind her.

"Found what you're looking for?" Iris was startled instantly grabbing a book to defend herself. The two demons showed up themselves before her. Passadio chuckled of her choice of weaponry defense. "I don't think a book can hurt us. Nice try, Iris."
