Chp 5 Pt. 3 His Luna

“What is going on Harrison?”

I finally show up at the festival to find Haley on stage with a microphone in her hand.

“You just missed it. Haley apparently plays the violin, beautifully I might add. Now she is going to sing.”

“She volunteered to perform on stage?”

“Well, no. Nick and Ray signed her name and pretty much forced her on stage. From the look on her face I am sure she will kill them later,” laughs Harrison.

I stand next to Harrison and my jaw drops as she begins to sing. I don’t know this song but it sounds so sad and I can see she is putting her emotions into the song. I see Ray sneaking up to the the DJ’s turntable. The DJ gives him control and a slow pop beat plays, I can tell Haley was not prepared for the change, but she doesn’t falter. Seems like these boys had some talents before becoming slaves.

The pack knows this is their Luna and they seem in awe of her. As soon as she sings the last note and the music ends, the crowd erupts in cheers. I can see
