It has been a month since I left the Laverne resident. The school started already so I was busy finishing research papers and exams. I visited my dad every day but he was still unresponsive. The doctor talked to me about deciding to take him off of the life support but it was too soon for me to give up.
Mr. Laverne kept in touch and offered his help continuously but I refused. There was nothing he could do to bring my dad back at this point. It was hopeless. My mind was constantly occupied by school works and my dad.
