I giggled a bit feeling a bit goofy, then got angry. "You will do NO such thing. He did nothing wrong! He brought me food when everyone else would have had me starved! I offered to repay the kindness and share! No one told me that was a thing! He refused and ran out! I believe the guard laughed at him!" I shouted.

He ground his teeth and took a deep breath. "What was his name? So, I may… thank him," he ground out.

"You won't hurt him?" I asked dubiously.

He let his breath out in what I swore was a draygony curse.

"No, I will not hurt him," he promised.

"Swear it!"

"I swear I will not hurt this Draygon."

"Cross your heart and hope to die?" I said with a giggle and goofy smile, feeling the urge to tease him.

"Mara!" he shouted; his patience gone.

Laughing, I took pity on him.

"Fine! It was Treddian. But I promise if even one scale is discolored, you will have me to answer to," I snapped, glaring at him a bit.

"Treddian," he repeated gently.
