Chapter 34

Darcy went to the factory the next day with a feeling of anticipation in her heart.

After she had worked for half a day she took a break and decided to visit Gale at his office as she had to inform him about her absence.

Gale was in his office thankfully when she arrived and was informed by his assistant very excitedly. As soon as she entered the office he came through the outer room which her dad had built to view the ongoing daily tasks done at the factory.

“Well, Darcy I wasn’t expecting you here today. What a surprise! Did you miss me that bad ….” He exclaimed aloud not hiding the tinge of amusement in his voice.

“I need to ask you a favour.” She told him. “And no I did not miss you at all.” She rolled her eyes at him for trying to be funny.

“Favor? From me…Wow, that’s new. Tell me Darcy what I can do for you.” He asked and gestured her to sit as he sat down in his chair.
