Chapter 49

Suddenly she realized something and asked.

“The driver?”

“Don’t worry he was still breathing, they have taken him to the hospital,” Gale assured her.

“The masked women?” Darcy asked again.

“They have all been taken away to the police station. I will deal with it. They will inform us if they have news about the attacker. But for now, let’s head to the hotel and clean you up.” Gale spoke patiently.

“But I have to reach somewhere and it’s urgent.” Darcy pleaded.

“Women you are already wounded and completely wet. Where do you think you are going?” Gale asked as Darcy could feel the irritation in his voice.

“But I must find Louis or he will vanish again,” Darcy spoke pitifully.

Gale looked at her helplessly for a second picked her up and went straight to his car.

Darcy tried to protest but Gale did not even look at her as he walked to his car with her in his arms.
