Even though her eyelids were heavy, Lucila forced her eyes open and peered at the woman who entered her room sneakily. The lights weren't turned on as if the stranger's visit was a secret. The woman was standing just a few steps from where she was lying.

"Do you remember me, Lucila?" the woman said almost in a whisper.

She frowned upon realizing who her surprise visitor was.

"Why are you here?" she asked back with a snort.

"I want to make a deal with you."

She sneered and then narrowed her eyes.
