"Where have you been? Your brother Lawrence said you didn't go to your family's company?" Javier asked Angela when she got home to Javier's house.

She sat on the couch as if nothing had happened or that she had done nothing wrong. "Yes, I have an emergency, I have to go home to the family that adopted me because they need me," Angela lied.

Javier looked at her seriously because he knew Angela was just lying. "Is there anything you need from me regarding them? Can I help you?" he just asked, acting that he cares where in fact he just showed Angela that he believes her lies.

Angela shook her head and smiled at Javier. "No, no. I already handled it. Thank you...but don't worry, I will call my brother, Lawrence tomorrow and will explain to him what happened. I am sure he can understand that maybe?" Angela asked.

Javier smiled at her and nodded. "Yes, I am sure they will understand too. Hmm, are you hungry? We can eat outside," Javier said.
