Perculiar

A pair of black eyes hopelessly and blankly stared at the pale-white wall that seemed to wrinkle at every hidden thought in the mind of he, who sat quietly.

Lips that were hideously lacking moisture slowly parted to reveal teeth that helplessly quivered. Time seemed to have stopped — all the sounds were muffled by the gentle, cool breeze that swirled into the spacious, ominously hushed room; through a slightly opened window.

It was dark inside — all the curtains were shut and poisonously locked all hope outside. There on the messy bed; probably smelling from sweat and drool, Travis sat with dishevelled hair that was revealing his bruised forehead. All his features were ashen, and there wasn't an emotion detected on his face. His mind was running fast towards all the unwelcoming thoughts — he carelessly embraced and invited those that were filled with the smell of despair into his heart.
