CHAPTER 69 Came for You

　　Mia's POV

　　"Cora," I say as I immediately crouch down on the ground and crawl over to where she is sitting.

　　Placing my hand gently on her back, Cora startles and jumps away from me. "Go away," she cries. "I want my mate."

　　I look back at Luna Emma, still standing in the doorway. I can see tears welling up in Emma's eyes as she looks in our direction. "I will leave you two alone," she says as she quietly backs out of the room and shuts the door behind her.
