I Need Time

[Travis’s POV]

I kept my gaze fixed on Ken as he processed what I had just told him. I wasn’t sure if he was oblivious to Davison’s treachery, but he was well aware of Gregory’s. Or had they already forgotten Marissa’s confession about the past?

"You were told two years ago about what Marissa suffered thanks to Gregory." I continued as neither Bex nor Ken spoke. "Did you take that confession as a bluff?"
