Demir untied his polo shirt and did not even look at Laura who was sitting right next to him.

“I could smell the liquor from you, is that a way of meeting with investors?” Laura asked suspiciously.

He caressed his nape and felt the heaviness from his stomach. “Will stop this argument again, Laura?”

“How will I be able to stop if you keep doing this every time that you will be at home?!” she folded her arms and tried to be calm on this situation because she wanted to speak out straight on her feelings.

“Try not to think much so you won’t act like that right?” Demir answered sarcastically. He felt tired from work and the fact that he thought he would achieve that peacefulness inside their home was certainly wrong.
