Chapter 32: Reminiscence: When I Met You

After a lengthy talk with Lacey, I temporarily bid her goodbye, after her parents’ voice interrupted us. She didn’t even want to hang up but had no choice as they were pestering her.

We’ll see each other anyway.

Like always, I kept myself busy by strolling at the park. Despite the unpleasant morning, the sunny weather was calming to the nerves.

Going through my favorite shops and places, I didn’t even notice that the sun has already set, judging from the gradual noises building up around me. Noises coming from people on their way to the stations to get home and rest.

Checking my phone, I still haven’t receive a single text from Sammy.

Looks like he’s really busy.

Realizing that he might be too busy to pick me up, I picked up the pace and decided to head back at the bus stop. I felt my legs getting heavy at the thought of going back to that awful place again.

Hmm…should I get myself a place of my own?

I doubt it…there’s no way that they’ll allow me though, much less give me
