CHAPTER THIRTY

“What did I miss?” Alan asked Ashley as he arrived home.

“I don't get you, what did you miss?” Ashley returned the question.

“So I got a call from a certain someone telling me that you are now part of his responsibility and I shouldn't think of hurting you,” Alan said in exasperation.

Laughing lightly “Ooh Sean, I asked him to walk me down the altar and he seemed happy doing it and then he started calling me his younger sister. It feels so good having an elder brother” Ashley narrated excitedly while Alan stared in amazement at her bubbly nature.

“I haven't seen you this happy, you didn't tell me you would choose him,” Alan said.

“Well I wasn't sure if he would accept so I didn't spill the tea,” Ashley said sitting on the couch in his bedroom.
